Palm Sunday

Oh WOW! Easter is next week! And then, I'm excited bexause the week after is my birthday. :D But let's focus on today.

Happy Palm Sunday! I think today is very important to the Easter story.  A long, long, long, time ago, before spring was a time for delicious chocolate bunnies, Jesus was wih His disciples. When he went to a city, he rode on a donkey.  And remember, at his time, Jesus was proclaiming he is he Son of God and is King above all. And what do kings ride? Not the majestic donkey! You would expect a powerful person to dress like a colorful, overdressed painting,  riding a mighty steed. Well, Jesus was no ordinary king! (Or if kings could be ordinary....) He humbled himself enough to be a mighty king and ride a kinda lowly creature.

Amd you can bwt the people of the town didn't ignore that! They took palm leaves and fanned their king and put their robes and coats or whatever they had and put it on he ground. Like thy would do wirh any earthly king!!!! They shoured and sung Hosanna! They praised him like a heavenly king! Jesus is so great, but he doesn't boast and go on and on about His power. He is so kind ans awesome!!!!!!!!
