But I messed up on the recipe. :(
You need to remember to mix the egg whites, cornstarch, and vanilla before mixing the other other ingredients in. For me, the cookies still tasted delicious, but just read the directions carefully.
In the recipe, you need to get the egg whites, which usually means a messy, long process of dragging the egg yolk from one shell to the other... but it's your lucky day! I know a process that's SO much easier than that! And the only tool you need is a water bottle.
First, you put all the eggs you need in a bowl, yolk and all. Then you take the top off an empty plastic water bottle and gently touch an egg yolk. You squeeze the bottle until the yolk gets sucked into it. Then above a garbage can or another bowl ( my dog loves to eat egg yolks) and let go of your grasp. After all the egg yolks are discarded, pour the egg whites into your mixing bowl.
Also, the batter will be thick and hard to mix at first, but don't give up! Just keep mixing and your cookies will turn out great!
I'm starting to mix, but remember to carefully read how to mix! |
