Hey guys! How was your Thanksgiving? Mine was not even close to normal...which pretty much describes me yet I am still surprised. My great aunt was unable to serve the meal, so my parents and I ate at a Asian buffet restaurant then made copies at Staples( And I got 2 journals!!!!!! I love writing in journals!!!!) then went to Office Depot. That happened.
Well, it's good to be thankful every day. At my church, we even write down something we're thankful for each day. Fact is, we have so much. Freedom. Clean water. Good food ( even from an Asian buffet). Education. Llamas. Oh yes, definitely the llamas. While in other parts of the world they don't have anything!
God gave us so much so we need to tell Him thanks! It's like if you've ever gone babysitting or worked with young kids before. Sometimes, on a special random day, you'll give your little four year old a book or a necklace or a certain cheap toy, and they just sit there, playing with it and you're just awkwardly standing there while the mom just screams in the poor kid's ear, YOU TELL HER THANK YOU FOR YOUR NICE PRESENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mom's do that, right? When that happens you feel unappreciated, the kid doesn't care about you when you went out of your way to get something for the kid, even if it was small? God care about you and even gave His Son to die so that you can live in Heaven with Him. That's a lot more than a toy from Walmart.
So say thanks! (NOW!!!!!!!)
