The Truth About Summer
So, it's almost a month that I've been enjoying my summer. .........And school begins in early September,so NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Okay, so in the 2 1/2 minutes I was typing the exclamation marks, I realized: Summer doesn't last forever. It can't last forever. It feels that school got out a week ago and I have so much to do before I have to go back. But the truth of it really, is that school isn't such a bad thing that we have to deal with. Sure you have to get up early in the morning and have homework, but there are certain ways to get through that, but what I'm saying that we shouldn't be afraid for summer to end.
Learning helps prepare us, even if it's not for real life ( my thoughts through 6th grade math) it prepares you for learning the stuff you use in real life (like 7th grade math). So, learning the subjects isn't too bad.
There's always gonna be subjects that you have trouble with or find boring or don't like the teacher or don't like the people whom you are forced to sit next to or you don't understand the material or can't find a point to that class or... yeah.
Of course, there's Common Core state testing ( No! I like it about as much as I like the ants that crawl through my house. Thank you, school) then that's a whole different story. Why do they have to test us in an entirely different and harder way than we were used to and I'm in middle school and always took STAR test, so this is really difficult. Hate school as much as you want then.
I love summer, but truth is, school is coming. (so, RUN! ) Um... I mean get prepared. ( Not really.)
